At 23 Alternative Provision, we believe every child deserves a chance to thrive.
Our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where young people can rediscover their potential, overcome challenges, and unlock their future. We work in partnership with schools to provide flexible support through hybrid timetables and, where appropriate, enable successful reintegration back into mainstream education on a full-time basis.

More than football
Our team is a diverse group of dedicated professionals, many of whom are former footballers with inspiring stories of overcoming challenges.
While football is a key engagement tool across our provision, our programmes focus on whole‑child support, including:
- Emotional regulation
- Positive behaviour and choices
- Confidence and self‑belief
- Routine, responsibility, and resilience
Football opens the door, relationships and support create the change.

Our facility
Set in the countryside, the provision offers a calm and secure setting while remaining well connected to our community partners and local activities, enabling meaningful learning experiences both on and off site.
With multiple classrooms, a games room, sports room, sensory room, and outdoor space, we offer flexible learning areas that support engagement, regulation, and personal development.
A message from our Founder Kyle Bennett
I was born and raised in Telford, the same community that sits at the heart of everything we do at 23 Alternative Provision.
I started playing football at the age of 4, and football went on to give me opportunities I could never have imagined, including playing over 400 professional games. The game taught me discipline, resilience, teamwork, and belief - values that still shape who I am today.
In August 2022, I launched 23 Academy, using sport as a way to engage, motivate, and inspire young people. While working closely with local schools, I had a real light-bulb moment.
Every young person’s circumstances are unique. Some face barriers in education, confidence or wellbeing. Others simply need the right environment, understanding and support to move forward. I have seen how powerful it can be when young people are given space to feel safe, listened to and valued.
That moment led directly to the creation of 23 Alternative Provision. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where young people can rediscover their potential, overcome challenges, and unlock their future.
